I’m not saying that we all need to have it done like Ian and Elvira of Weddingclip – but the video does make you wonder: “Exactly what is it that really matters?” – since Vira wrote on her wall: “The sweetest moment of my life.”

You. Him. A dress. A jacket. Flowers. Some music. Good friends. Good laugh. Great memories.

Instawall: A Simple Yet Gorgeous Do-It-Yourself Project For You

I’m sure we’re not the first one to make this since I saw the idea on the internet quite a while back. It stuck on my head because of its simplicity and striking factor. It was not until last year that we finally made one for the office. Every time guests come by, they always stop at our stairs and spend quite some time there asking stories about the pictures. It’s definitely an ‘art piece’ to consider when you’re looking for decorations for your home or office.

We thought it will be cool to make a video showing to you how to make one for yourself. We never had the time to do the project but eventually last week, the five photographers gathered to shoot this quick video.

If this has inspired you in any way to make your very own Instawall, please tell us in the comments and also you can post the finished pictures of them in our Facebook wall for all to see.

We really think that this is a great, functional, easy and cheap way to decorate a lot of people’s homes, and we want to see a lot of people doing it, so please help us by sharing this to your friends and loved ones.

Thanks again!

I learn about f-stops and all his friends from Pak Nol, my music and photography teacher way back in junior high (SMP). He was this Timorese gentleman who is a walking resemblence of Abraham Lincoln. Like all first-timers, in those days, I learn the ‘how’. Push this button and that will happen.

But I learn a lot of ‘why’ of photography from Novijan Sandjaya. Continue reading

Disciples Concert Photos

Last 25th of May, the whole lot of Edward Suhadi Production’s photographers (there’s five of us now!) were trusted to shoot Disciples, a Christian Hip-Hop band that’s performing their concert in the Upperroom Jakarta.

I just landed from my month long sabbatical leave in Ambon in the morning, but the guys already took care of everything, so I just need to head home, picked up my camera and then just went to the show.

It was a blast. Crazy amazing talented people, not to mention there’s Saykoji in the team, they really bring up a new flavour for the Christian music scene. They rap and rap and rap. How do you guys even remember all those lyrics? Amazing what you guys just pulled off. Definetely will wait for more of those :)

I was barely shooting. Feeling a bit tired from the 5 hour flight (and the hustle of the big city), the images below are mostly shot by the others.

I love what I am seeing. Proud as heck as well.
